Principal’s Message
Dear Kleb Parents and Students,
I hope this newsletter finds you well as we near the end of this school year and prepare for summer break. On
the behalf of the faculty and staff at Kleb Intermediate, we thank you for an excellent 2014-2015 school year! We have
thoroughly enjoyed watching your children learn and grow.
The faculty at Kleb has a lot to celebrate as we wrap up the end of another great year! Recently, the Houston
Chronicle published their annual School Report Card which rates schools on the basis of three indices: student
achievement, socioeconomic performance, and growth. Kleb Intermediate scored an “A” and was ranked as one of
Houston’s top 50 middle schools! Also, our STAAR scores came in and our Bearcubs did great! We will be celebrating with
our students on Wednesday, June 4 in the afternoon at our 2nd annual “STAAR Celebration”! Lastly, we will be holding
our 6-8th grade ceremonies next week to recognize our Bearcubs’ success!

the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning
are always open.”
