2015 CMEA Festival

Porterville High School, Buck Shaffer Auditorium

Arrive at Tulare Union in your performance attire.
Depart to Porterville High School.
Arrive at Porterville High School. Once we arrive, Concert Band will get ready to warmup in the band room. Symphonic Band will go to Auditorium to listen to other bands.

Concert Band Sight-Reading.
Concert band is done, put equipment away and head to auditorium to listen to other
bands.
Symphonic Band goes to lunch. Everyone must be back by 12:00pm to get
instruments off the bus and prepare for warm-up.

Concert Band goes to lunch. Everyone needs to be back in their seats by 1:00pm to
listen to TU Symphonic Band and TW Symphonic Band.

Load all equipment and wait for Mr. Capote to get results.
Mr. Capote will announce the results. We will then load buses and depart back to TU.
Arrive at TU.
Things to remember:

YOUR INSTRUMENT!!!!! PERCUSSION MUSIC!!!!! YOUR INDIVIDUAL MUSIC!!!!!

Your instrument, percussion instruments (Snare drum, suspended cymbal, wind chimes,
triangle, crash cymbals, keyboard, timpani and bass mallets, drum sticks, anything else we need)
[ ]
Dress for the occasion. Festival is a professional occasion, not a regular school day. The way we look
can make or break our chances at a Superior Performance.

Bring money for lunch.
We have been working very hard for this day. Be prepared so that this day can go as smooth as possible.
Be on time, be courteous, and ALWAYS show the highest level of class and discipline throughout the day.
Don’t forget: WE ARE REDSKINS AND HAVE GREAT PRIDE IN EVERTHING WE DO!!!!!
