I NVITATION
The Swiss Swimming Federation cordially invites you to participate in the 40th Swiss Open
Synchronised Swimming Championships in the City of Zurich.
1. DATE AND PLACE
The 40th Swiss Open Championships will take place
• Competition:
Thursday, July 9 – Sunday, July 12, 2015
• Official Training: Monday, July 6 – Wednesday, July 9, 2015
2. LOCATION
Swimming pool Hallenbad Oerlikon in Zurich. 50m indoor pool.

4. RULES
This competition will be held according to FINA rules (2013/2017) and Swiss rules.
Results shall be calculated according to the percentages allocated to each session: Figures
100%, Routines 100% and Free routine combination 100%.

The competition is open for national teams and clubs for Juniors (born 1997-and
younger) and Seniors.
Each national team or club is allowed to take part with:
Senior Category (Technical and Free Routine)
2 solos, 2 duets, 2 mixed duets, 1 team technical routine, 1 team free routine and 1
free combination routine,
Junior Category (Figures and Free Routine)
2 solos, 2 duets, 2 mixed duets, 1 team free and 1 free routine combination
One swimmer can participate only in one age group category per routine.
No finals will be held. The final results are determined by the final score of each
performed session; Technical routine 100%, Free Routine 100%, Free
Combination 100%.
The draw for routines according to FINA rule SS13.6.1.

Mrs. Hortensia Graupera, LEN TSSC, will act as observer for this competition.
8. JUDGES AND PRACTISE JUDGES
Each federation is requested to send one FINA or LEN listed judge.
Practice judges are invited to sign up.
9. ENTRIES
Each club, or/and country can register:
1. Two solos and 1 alternate each
2. Two duets and 1 alternate each
3. Two mixed duets and 1 alternate each
4. One (1) team and 2 alternates
5. One (1) Combination routine and 2 alternates
The number of athletes on the team event can be four to eight (4 – 8).
The maximum number of athletes entered per National Federation or club shall
be twelve (12) for each category.

Scoring will be according to the FINA rules

Please mark every musicfile with the following information: Country, Category,
Club/National Team, Solo (T/F), Duet (T/F), Mixed Duet (T/F), Team Tech, Combo
and/or Team Tech as well as the name(s) of the swimmer(s).

14. TRANSPORTATION
The organizers will be responsible for the transportation to and from the
Airport. If possible - depending on the hotel location - to and from the pool
to the hotels.

17. DOPING CONTROL
According to regulations of the Swiss National Olympic Committee doping control
is possible at the venue. Please note that by sending your entry for the Swiss Open
2015 you declare to accept any possible doping control.
