FINDING YOUR VOICE is organised
by Ipswich Electrifiers Speakers’
Club, as part of our 20th anniversary
celebrations.
• Ipswich Electrifiers Speakers’ Club
(IESC) was chartered on 1st March 1995
• The Electrifiers’ name refers to the
Talk Electric Centre, part of the Eastern
Electricity offices near Ipswich Town
Football Club, where the Club first met
• IESC is part of Toastmasters
International, a worldwide organisation
founded in 1924 by Ralph C Smedley
• Ipswich Electrifiers devised and
organised the Speakerthon – 100
speeches in 100 minutes – as part of IpArt in 2009 and 2010
• The Club meets on Thursday fortnights
from 6pm at Suffolk Chamber of
Commerce, Felaw Maltings, Felaw St,
Ipswich, to practice speaking in public
• Guests are always very welcome

DIRECTIONS
The Suffolk Food Hall is situated under the Orwell Bridge, just south
of Ipswich. Follow the brown signs from the A14/A137 at junction
56 (direction Shotley). There is plenty of parking. Suffolk Food Hall,
