From previous shows, this offering is well received among our retailers. Our electronic ordering terminals provide the flexibility to add and track Bozzuto’s Bucks payments in real-time. They could be used “at your discretion” to increase sales on any item included in the electronic order system. FALL - WINTER SELLING SHOW This program includes timely fall and winter holiday items, such as, cranberry sauce pallets and other seasonal shippers. Product that is also carried as straight stock on an everyday basis may be advertised, if it includes an allowance on the straight stock. Bozzuto’s Bucks are available for some items sold at the show. In addition, these items may be submitted for consideration in the BFD program with an incremental allowance. AUGUST 11-12, 2015 PRODUCT SAMPLING & FOOD PREPARATION The health department at Foxwoods requires that every supplier offering food for consumption during Merchandising Marketplace, fill out a Product Sampling & Food Preparation form. Foxwoods’ health department must approve all suppliers’ forms prior to serving samples on the trade show floor. The Product Sampling & Food Preparation Form can be found on the irc.bozzutos.com site under “FORMS”. Please make sure all forms are filled out online by July 11, 2015. If you do not fill out the required sampling form, you will not be able to serve samples at the show. SHOW SAMPLES Shipping samples to Bozzuto’s via UPS, FedEx, DHL or over the road carriers without a purchase order is not an option. Below are approved methods: For Grocery & Non-Food Items You May: • Pull samples from our inventory (billing will be applied to the appropriate supplier). Make sure you work with your Category Manager/Merchandiser to make sure your product is available in our warehouse no later than August 1, 2015. • If samples are being shipped by an over the road carrier to Bozzuto’s Inc. for proper receiving on a purchase order, do not mark product with show information. FOXWOOD’S HEALTH DEPARTMENT FORMS FOR PRODUCT SAMPLING & PREPARATION If you will be providing samples at the Merchandising Marketplace, please make sure to visit irc.bozzutos.com under “FORMS” to complete your required sampling form by July 11, 2015. ELECTRICAL & INTERNET REQUEST FORMS If you require extra electrical or hard wire internet for your booth, please go to irc.bozzutos.com under “FORMS” to fill out your request. Forms must be completed and returned to Pat Hill at [email protected] by July 11, 2015. FREE WI-FI Free Wi-Fi will be available on the trade show floors. The use of Personal Wi-Fi Routers on the trade show floor is strictly prohibited. Personal Wi-Fi (wireless) routers (or rogue access points) significantly and negatively impact the Show environment. They cause the tablet order system to slow down and in some cases make nearby tablets unusable. We reserve the right to ask you to power off your mobile hot spots if they are found to be interfering with the show ordering network. AUGUST 11-12, 2015 LAPTOP TRAINING Laptop training is required for all suppliers. You will be notified when a schedule is set so you can select your day and time. HOTEL RESERVATIONS You will need a code to book hotel reservations. The room block will be open May 11, 2015 thru July 17, 2015. Room block code information to follow. Please contact your Category Manager/Merchandiser after May 8, 2015 for the code. PRODUCT SAMPLES Samples are donated to local food banks at the end of the show. Please refrain from “swapping or shopping” product at or before the close of the show. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING AS THEY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED Note: Do NOT unload any items other than your personal luggage at the Fox Tower at Foxwoods valet parking area. AUGUST 11-12, 2015 Foxwoods Resort Casino Hand-Carry Policy For the convenience and safety of exhibitors and patrons Foxwoods prohibits the transportation of all freight and material handling through the lobby and other public space. Foxwoods will however, allow items to be hand carried in or out of the facility during specified dates and times. Hand carried freight is defined as items that can be easily carried by an individual exhibitor, without the need for mechanized equipment. Exhibitors may use two-wheeled hand trucks (Exhibit A) and will not be allowed use four-wheeled flat trucks or similar. (Exhibit B) Exhibitors may not pull up to or unload at the loading dock. A designated area or marshaling yard will be established by the resort and the designated General Services Contractor for the transfer of items to the facility. Exhibitors may not utilize or borrow any Hotel equipment for the purpose of loading in/out hand carry items, this includes but is not limited to the hotels bell staff and/or carts. Should Exhibitors need assistance with load in/out, they will be referred to the appointed General Services Contractor where fees may apply. Hand carry items will be supervised. All items are subject to Hotel & Convention Services Staff approval. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse hand carry items for any reason. Exhibitors found violating these procedures will be asked to turn items over to the General Services Contractor by using procedures set forth in the Exhibitor Packages received by the General Services Contractor.
