Costumes!
It’s costume time! With your costume, you will
receive a costume care sheet with information
about hair, makeup, tights, etc. Tights were
included in the costume balance and they will be
sent home with your costume.
Costumes will not be sent home until any
outstanding balances are paid in full.
Please DO NOT wear the costumes!!! We cannot
stress this enough.
The first time you can wear the costumes is on
the photo days. This includes the new tights.
Volunteers for
the Recital!
We can not run the year-end recital
without the help of volunteers. In April,
we will be posting sign-up sheets in the
lobby asking for volunteers.
We understand wanting to watch your
child perform. Because the staff are all
busy running the show backstage, it is
vital that we have volunteers to supervise
the dressing rooms. Please consider:
- pairing up with another parent to
volunteer for each other’s child’s show
The second time you can wear the costumes is
during the recital.
- watching your child’s show and
volunteering for the other
After that, you can do what you want with them!
- asking another family member, friend or
baby-sitter to volunteer
- volunteer to supervise at the tech
rehearsals
Photo Days: Apr 20, 21, 22 & 23
The photo schedule has already been emailed. It can be viewed on our online bulletin board at www.irdance.ca/news
A copy is also be posted at the studio. Please take a good look at it as regular classes are cancelled over these 4 days.
Attendance for photos is mandatory and counts towards the Dedicated Dancer Award. Although you are required to attend
the photos, you are not required to purchase them. Pricing information was included with the schedule. If you wish to
purcahse photos, they need to be ordered and paid for on photo day.
We would like to ensure these 4 days are as organized and smooth as possible. Try to make your arrangements so you can
be here 15 minutes early. Please come ready with full hair and make-up already complete. Every year we consistently
run on time with photo days.

prepare for the recital. It’s not a matter of
inconvenience; it can be very difficult for your
dancer to keep up with the group.
We had incredible support this year! We
collected large amount of donated household
items and raised over $1000 with our uniform
buy-out and hair-tie sales. Thank you!

All dancers in Junior/Level 3 & Up participate in the finale. This
rehearsal is the only chance before we go to the theatre to rehearse
with the whole 200+ dancers who will be performing together!

and pay the day of!
Priority Registration for 2015-2016 Opens May 4!
During the final weeks of April, we will be sending home registration information including Level
Recommendations for next year. Current students and siblings receive priority registration until June 7. If
your dancer has their heart set on a class, enroll early - some classes filled during the first weeks last year!
