SCHEDULE “A” – JOB Position Title: Reference No: MGR_MKTG Manager, Marketing, Manitoba Moose Department: Marketing Position Status: Position Description Reports & responsible to: Position summary: Detailed Responsibilities: DESCRIPTION Revision date: May 2015 Permanent Full Time Temporary Position Permanent Part Time Specified Term Vice President, Marketing & Brand Development The Manager, Marketing, Manitoba Moose, will oversee the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the Manitoba Moose. The position will work closely with various departments including Creative, Digital Media, Retail, Game Production, Communications, Community Relations and Corporate Partnerships to provide integrated and consistent marketingrelated strategic planning and support in an effort to ensure the team’s goals and objectives are met. Develop marketing strategies and plans to support the sale of Season Tickets, Mini-Packs, Groups, and Individual Tickets. Work closely with the Ticket Sales department to help develop new and support existing group initiatives. Work with the Ticket Sales and Ticket Systems departments to develop and support strategies to retain Season Ticket and Mini Pack Holders. Assist in the development of sales collateral brochures and other materials for use by Ticket Sales. Production Management - Oversee the production management for all Manitoba Moose projects involving print, signage and branding execution. Key liaison between True North and the supplier on various projects. Brand Management – working the Vice President, Marketing, he/she will provide key input on the long term brand positioning of the Manitoba Moose. Develop and execute marketing campaigns, strategies and related activities to increase fan engagement and brand equity related to the Manitoba Moose. Media Buying – Plan and execute advertising campaigns in support of ticket sales initiatives and general branding of the team, across both traditional and digital media. Digital – manage the creation, scheduling, and distribution of marketing communication through all digital media platforms (website, social media, mobile, e-blasts, etc.) in order to provide True North Sports & Entertainment Limited Manager, Marketing, Manitoba Moose Page 2 of 2 timely, consistent and engaging information to fans. Work with Community Relations in managing the community presence of the Manitoba Moose to ensure the brand is represented in the community. In addition to Marketing, this position will be supplemented with additional routine and non-routine tasks as time allows and assigned. Qualifications: Post-secondary degree or certificate in Marketing, Sports Management or Business study 3 - 5 years’ experience in a marketing role, including experience in media buying, digital marketing and/or account services would be considered an asset. Experience planning, implementing, managing, and measuring integrated marketing plans. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform analysis, interpret results and make recommendations to various audiences. Good understanding of all desktop publishing applications. Ability to work in a dynamic, high paced environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Results driven with the ability to set goals and deliver on priorities. Superior attention to detail and excellent personal organization. Passion for hockey and knowledge of the AHL is considered an asset. Comfortable working with very firm deadlines. The ability and will to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Good inter-personal and communication ability in working with other staff, management, and suppliers. Ability to work as a positive contributor to a team in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment. Must be flexible with working weekends, evenings and holidays as required.
