ANNOUNCEMENTS
 WELCOME, FATHER MOSES McPHERSON!—While Fr. John and family are attending Lydia’s graduation Sunday,
May 17, Fr. Moses from Chico, California, has graciously agreed to come and serve Divine Liturgy in Fr. John’s stead. We
all thank you for coming, Fr. Moses!
 “JASON’S JOURNEY” FUND—Anyone wanting to help Jason in his difficult path ahead, please feel free to donate via
check, cash, credit card through the bookstore, or by using the PayPal button on the joyofallwhosorrow.org website. The
money received will go directly to Jason after being recorded in our charity fund. Put “Jason’s Journey” as the reference.
 *HAPPY GRADUATION, LYDIA!—On Sunday, May 24, Fr. John and Matushka Deborah will provide a special cake and
goodies in honor of Lydia’s accomplishment. She is graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology on May 17, and as
her Church Family, we will celebrate on Sunday, May 24. The CSUN graduation ceremony is scheduled for 8 a.m., May 17!
We are sorry Fr. John has to miss the service on May 17 but grateful that Fr. Moses is coming to fill in.
 THE CHURCH HALL OFTEN SERVES AS AN OVERFLOW DURING SERVICES, and we must strive to keep all
areas of the building clean, quiet, and prayerful during the Divine Liturgy any other services. Also, OCA policy states that
children must be supervised in and around the Church at all times. This includes children’s room, the Church, the
bookstore, and inside and outside the front & back doors.
