Dear Friend,
This past year, nine Catholic parish grammar schools in Ulster, Sullivan and
Orange counties formed the Catholic School Region of Ulster/Sullivan/Orange of
the Archdiocese of New York. The mission of the Catholic Schools of the
Archdiocese of New York is to ensure our schools are Christ-centered,
academically excellent, and welcoming communities that teach students to be
life-long learners and leaders energized by fidelity to Christ, the church and one
another.
We are pleased to collaborate on our 2nd annual USO 5K Run/Walk, scheduled for
April 18 to be held at John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen, NY. The
purpose of the event is to raise awareness for our schools and money so that we
can increase our exposure in the marketplace, with a portion of the proceeds
being donated to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. This year’s theme for
our5K is Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds.
