School Newsletter Term 2 Week 7 2015 Dear Parents/Caregivers Welcome to this edition of the school newsletter. There is a great deal on at the moment, and, coming up. Teachers are writing mid-year reports which will come home to you at the end of the term. You will also get a second Interim Report tomorrow which should see an improvement for your child. Also coming up is the ski trip, the school Production and Open Day/Night. We had a break from the production over the long weekend and it was good that we did. I was talking with one boy who had 2 days of rugby in the weekend, rugby on Tuesday, practice on Tuesday night, school rugby practice on Wednesday, club practice on Thursday night, basketball on Friday night and rugby on Saturday. I am sure Rep teams will be selected soon and this will add to the pressure. It is important that we remember that many of our children are busy and get very tired. I know you monitor this at home, making sure children get lots of sleep and good food. Please remember that your child’s classroom teacher is always available to talk to even though the Teacher-Parent-Child Interviews are not until next term. If there is anything at all that is a concern please get in touch. Best wishes Peter Aitken Deputy Principal Entertainment Books 2015 -2016 IMPORTANT MESSAGE School Production Tuesday 23 June Wednesday 24 June Thursday 25 June 7pm – 8:30pm If you have purchased an Entertainment Book and you do not have a Gold Card enclosed please contact Richard on email [email protected] or phone the office 374 5921 Year 8 Wellington Camp As full payment needs to be paid by the end of Term 3 it is strongly advised that a regular automatic payment be set up for the balance of the amount.
