All students that signed up for AP Psychology
next year, must see Mr. Carosso in G-201, M-F,
May 11-15, during a morning or lunch recess to
receive info about the summer homework.
! Sew a Lei for Memorial Day! Start looking
for flowers or ti to Sew a Lei for Memorial Day!
To show our respect for our veterans, lei will be
placed on the graves of our veterans in the
national parks on Memorial Day. (Drop off date &
time to be announced.)
Specifics: All lei should be made of fresh
flowers or ti leaves and measure 20-24 inches
before tying. All lei must be tied. Schools may
accept donations of lei from parents & the
community. (Floral spray, such as ti leaf &
anthurium bouquets, are welcome, but will be not
included in the final lei count.
! KKHS Driver Education Classes: Applications
& information for the Summer 2015 Driver Education
Class is available in the front office, Room G-203
during non-class time, & online at the KKHS Driver
Education Website. Instructions on how to apply & the
summer course dates will be on the included on the

designed by students to show case their work &
inform the public of our program. Na Alii Vision,
also known as "NAV," is Kekaulike's Digital
Media & Yearbook Program. Throughout the
school year the website is updated weekly by
students & their advisor, Mr. Ripani.
! Recycle Phone Books: Drop off
your phone books at the Aloha Recycling
Centers (Makawao, behind Kalama
School, Haiku, Kahului & Kihei) & designate King
Kekaulike High School! The statewide contest
ends Fri, May 22. Top schools with the most
weight receive big cash prizes!
! Deadline: Fri, May 15 to Sign Up for
Mentor for sy2015-16: Students may sign up
through the google form sent to them through
their @kkhs.k12.hi.us email account.

committee planning the KKHS 20th
Anniversary Celebration is hosting a
rummage sale in the school cafe on Sat, June 6,
from 7-11am. This is a fundraiser for the 20th
Anniversary Celebration as well as the start up
for the Kekaulike Foundation & Scholarship
program! Drop off Wed-Th, June 3 & 4, 1:305:30pm at café. Questions?
! Performing Arts Center: Have you been
watching the plywood fence being built below the
Administration building & moving towards the
basketball courts? It’s the start of our Performing Arts

F-Sun, May 15-17, in the Café: This Spring
Musical, Bye Bye Birdie will play on May 8, 9 (no
Mothers Day show) & 15, 16, 17. Fridays & Saturdays
at 7pm. Sunday at 3pm in our café. Students: $6
Adults: $8 Tickets available at the door a half hour
before show times. Read about it in the Thursday’s
MauiScene.
