Month of the Military Child
Join us for our annual
parade around the
courtyard to honor our families and their children.
We will wear purple (the color that symbolizes all
branches of the military) to show our support
and recognize the contribution that the military
child makes as their parents serve our nation.
It is during April of each year that our CDC in
conjunction with our Parent Advisory Board
(PAB) provides special activities and educational
events to celebrate our military families enrolled
in our program.

Become a
Child Care Provider
Make extra income while caring for children in the comfort of your
own home.
Family Child Care (FCC) staff will train and help you provide responsible
and safe in-home care for children 2 weeks to 13 years old in your
government or affiliated off-base home.
We’ll make sure you have the skills, promotion and resources you need.
We’re also looking for providers for special needs, weekend & extended
hours child care.
Did you know?
Individuals taking care of someone else’s children in base quarters on a regular basis for
more than 10 hours per week must be licensed. Residents of base housing who knowingly
provide unlicensed child care are in danger of losing their base housing privileges. The
care in FCC is provided in the home of individuals licensed under AFI 34-276 guidelines.
These licensed child care providers must complete (at a minimum) 24 hours of orientation,
be certified in CPR/First Aid, complete AF child care training modules, obtain liability
insurance and have their home meet fire prevention, health and safety guidelines.
Please contact the FCC office for further details.
