Progress Reports for grades 6-8 will be sent home on May 28th. Please ask your child to see a progress report from every class.
Contact teachers directly if you have questions.

Final Report cards for grades 3-5 will be sent home with students on June 3 rd. Report cards for grades 6-8 will be mailed to
families the week of June 8th.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony is on June 4th at 10:30am in the Keewaydin Auditorium. Students should be at school by 9:40am.

The LNCS Site Council met on Tuesday night and selected parents to serve with 7 staff members on the Wenonah
Principal Interview Committee. The committee is looking for your thoughts regarding the qualities you feel are
important in a principal for Wenonah. A paper survey went home this week, please return it next week or go to
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KPZBZRT to complete online.

Happy Memorial Day! There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday.

2nd Grade Parents: join us for coffee and a short celebration after the Citizen of the Month assembly next Thursday,
May 28th. We plan to celebrate the time your child spent at Wenonah and Principal Spriggs will be with us to
welcome them to the wonderful new adventure ahead at Keewaydin.

Are you interested in working with other parents on improvements to Wenonah’s outdoor property? Next
Wednesday at 4:15 we will start a conversation regarding adding a rain garden and kindergarten playground
improvements. This committee is being formed now for next year. If you have fundraising, grant writing, landscape
experience or just want to contribute to the future of Wenonah’s play areas please join us for this first meeting from
4:15-5 pm on Wednesday.

Thank you for your completed Homework Surveys. The early results of the survey were shared with Site Council
this week and it was decided that we will postpone future conversations until the new Wenonah principal is on
board. The June 2nd parent forum has been postponed until next fall. This great conversation is worth
continuing. Since many more surveys came in just today the survey results will be updated on posted in the Site
Council section of the LNCS website late next week.
