About the workshop:
This training clearly outlines the support planning requirements in the new SRS legislation and
regulations. It draws upon participants’ own experience of developing, implementing, monitoring and
reviewing residents’ ongoing support plans:





Effective communication
Understanding and setting resident goals
Developing interim/support plans
Implementing and reviewing ongoing support plans
Storing ongoing support plans.
Target audience: Personal Support Workers and Coordinators, Managers and Proprietors
Time: 10.00am – 3.00pm
Cost: Training is free and lunch is provided

The Department of Health (DoH) is able to provide a contribution of $50 backfill per SRS
employee to attend this training in recognition of its importance. A tax invoice must be
provided.
Note: Tax invoices received after three months from training session completion date or
after the end of financial year will not be processed.
