SRS Workplace emergency response About the workshop: Victoria has been affected by a variety of emergencies over the last five years; fires, floods, heatwaves and power outages. Information gained from these events has been included in the 2014 SRS Workplace Emergency Response training. SRS proprietors and staff will gain practical information on responding to all emergencies and hazards that may affect SRS. This training will assist you in planning for, and responding to, potential emergencies: Emergency management information specific to the SRS sector and how each SRS will respond to emergencies Assessing risk, preparing for and responding to emergencies Safety equipment Relocation of residents or shelter in place Recovery following an emergency An updated Sample Emergency Management Plan and guide. Emergencies that have affected SRS in the past will be discussed during the training, and participants will be invited to share their experiences with responding to emergencies.
