Candidiasis, An Effective
3-in-1 Therapy
VUSION® Ointment (0.25% miconazole nitrate/
15% zinc oxide/81.35% white petrolatum)
Please see Important Safety Information on back page
and accompanying Full Prescribing Information.
With the triple protection of its combined
ingredients, VUSION® Ointment (0.25%
miconazole nitrate/15% zinc oxide/81.35% white
petrolatum) clears the Candida infection found
in more than 40% of diaper dermatitis, creates
the needed barrier enforcement, and provides
moisture. Indicated for the adjunctive treatment
of diaper dermatitis only when complicated by
documented candidiasis, VUSION Ointment
is prescribed for immunocompetent pediatric
patients 4 weeks and older.
The ointment is applied at each diaper change for 7
days. It should be used as part of a treatment regimen
that includes gentle cleansing of the diaper area and
frequent diaper changes. If irritation occurs, or if the
rash worsens, treatment should be discontinued.
Before starting treatment with VUSION
Ointment, the presence of Candida infection
should be established by microscopic evidence of
pseudohyphae and/or budding yeast. A positive
fungal culture for Candida albicans is not an adequate
evaluation of candidal infection, since colonization
with C. albicans can result in a positive culture.

page and accompanying Full Prescribing Information.
