How to install Yolŋu Keyboard on your Windows computer
1. Choose your computer Operating System (Windows XP, Windows 7/8)

2. Make sure to choose ‘Save File’ the zip folder.
3. You can save the zip folder under your preferable location.

4. Right click on the zip folder you saved and click ‘Extract All’.
5. Select a destination to which you want to extract files.

6. Right click Yolngu-7_amd64 file amongst of the extracted files and select ‘Install’, then
follow the AuSIL Yolŋu setup Wizard.
7. Once it’s installed on your computer, go to Control Panel from Start menu.

8. Left click ‘Change keyboards or other input methods’ under Clock, Language, and Region
setting.
9. Left click ‘Change keyboards’ under Keyboards and Languages menu.

10. Click ‘Add’.

11. Near down the bottom, you can find Yoruba (Nigeria). Click it and Keyboard to find
AuSIL Yolŋu. Then select AuSIL Yolŋu and click ‘OK’.
12. Now Yolŋu Keyboard is being active on your keyboard. Please click ‘Apply’ then ‘OK’ to
close the window.

13. To switch to Yolŋu keyboard from English keyboard, left click ‘EN’ in right bottom corner
of your screen, then select ‘YO’. Now it’s all ready to go!!
