It is open to all; you don’t have to be a CAMRA member. The trail is aimed at promoting the Cask Mild style of beer, which is sometimes overlooked. It also gives people taking part in the trail a chance to go and discover pubs where they may not generally venture to. Join one of our planned social crawls ,go at your own pace or a bit of both….. “ TAKE A WALK ON THE MILD SIDE” MILD MONTH “BORN TO BE MILD” iicontinued on pg 16 PUB POSTCODE/PHONE PUBLIC TRANSPORT The Ale Wagon* Bridle Lane Tavern* LE1 1RE (0116) 262 3330 LE1 2HS (0116) 251 0585 The Criterion* The Friary* High Cross* King’s Head* The Pub* Last Plantagenet * Swan and Rushes* Old Horse* The Parcel Yard* The Wheel (Oadby)* Black Horse (Aylestone)* Cow and Plough (Oadby)* LE1 5JN (0116) 262 5418 LE1 5AW (0116) 261 9196 LE1 4JB (0116) 251 9218 LE1 6RL (0116) 254 8240 LE1 6TF LE1 6FD (0116) 255 5492 LE1 5WR (0116) 233 9167 LE2 1NE (0116) 254 8384 LE2 0BQ (0116) 261 9301 LE2 5DP (0116) 271 2231 LE2 8NA (0116) 283 7225 LE2 2FB (0116) 272 0852 Glenhills Sports & Social Club* (Participating May 01-04/22-25) Winstanley Arms (Braunstone)* The Western (off Bede Island)* Stamford Arms (Groby)* (Participating May 1-16) Dog and Gun (Syston)* Syston Social Club* Queen Victoria (Syston)* Malt Shovel (Barkby) LE2 9JB (0116) 277 1398 City Centre 5/5A 126/127 (A) 22/25/26/54(F) 22A/B/C (CB) City Centre City Centre City Centre City Centre City Centre City Centre 88/88A (F) 47/49/84/84A/85/87 (A) 31/31A (A) Railway Station 31/31A/48/80 (A) 22/54 (F) 31(A) 40 (CB$) X3 (A $) 84/84A/85/87(A) 40(CB) $ 80(A)(15min walk) 22(F)22B (CB) (Both 15 min walk) 84/84A/85/(A) 40(CB) $ LE3 2WB (0116) 289 0046 LE3 0GA (0116) 254 5287 LE6 0DJ (0116) 287 5616 104(A) 50/50A/51/52 (A) 18/19 (F) $ 26/28 (A) LE7 1GN (0116) 260 9366 LE7 1GP (0116) 260 9086 LE7 1GQ (0116) 260 5750 LE7 3QG (0116) 269 2558 Horse and Groom Bull’s Head (Blaby)* Horse & Trumpet Free Trade Inn (Thur-Sun) Beerhouse LE7 3DJ (0116) 260 6186 LE8 4DN (0116) 278 9799 LE12 7LP (01509) 812549 LE12 7RW (01509) 814494 LE16 7GL 07738 086194 The Plough (Bruntingthorpe) Chandler’s Arms (Shearsby) William Wygston (Wigston)* The Plough (Littlethorpe) LE17 5QE (0116) 247 8300 LE17 6PL (0116) 247 8384 LE18 1DR (0116) 288 8397 LE19 2HS (0116) 286 2383 5/5A (A) 100/128 (CB) $ Syston 5/5A (A)100/128(CB)$ Syston 5/5A (A)100/128(CB)$ 6(A) Syston 100 (CB, direct) 5/5A (20 min walk) Syston (25min walk) 5 (A) $ 84/84A/85 (A) Sileby 2(K) Sileby 2(K) Market Harborough X3(A)X7(SC)44(CB) $ 661 (Murphys Taxis) (A)Arriva (HB) Hinckley Bus (F) First bus (K) Kinchbus (CB) Centrebus (SC)Stagecoach www.leicestercamra.org.uk 15 18 Rail station $ not in view from bus stop,venue a short walk away. * Venues can be reached with a Leicester Flexi bus ticket.
