Just come to one of the locations above with a bag and a spade. You will be able to dig any number of the 12,000+ bulbs planted throughout Lewes last fall -- and take them home for your garden. More than 3,000 daffodil bulbs were planted in George H.P. Smith Park last fall, and more than 12,000 tulip bulbs were planted throughout the city. It promotes the beautification and maintenance of Historic Lewes and the community at large. It is dedicated to helping Lewes boost its attractiveness through a variety of efforts including historical preservation, environmental awareness, a children’s garden, floral displays, and more.
