NOTICE FOR RE-INVITATION OF BIDS
FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC TOILET AT KOHAT
ADDA/ TERMINAL, KOHAT ROAD
The USAID has provided funds to finance the cost of construction of public
toilet at Kohat Road and rehabilitation under Municipal Services Program
(MSP) through Project Management Unit (PMU), Government of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, to make eligible payment under the Contract for which this
Invitation of Bids is issued. The detail is as under:

MSP/PMU/PT-01B: Construction of Public Toilet at Kohat
Adda/ Terminal, Kohat Road, Peshawar.
Project Management Unit (PMU) invites sealed bids for the above drainage
works under “Single Stage Two Envelopes” bidding process, under PPRA
Rules, from all the eligible interested Contractors / Firms having relevant
experience of carrying-out similar works and registration with Pakistan
Engineering Council (PEC) Category C-2 & above.
Blank Bidding / Bid documents for said works can be obtained from the
office of the Project Director, PMU, 43-B/1 Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Khan
Road, University Town, Peshawar with in one week of the of first
appearance in the news papers between 9:00 A.M to 2.00 PM on submission
of written request on bidder’s letterhead and payment of prescribed bidding
Documents fee (non-refundable) of Rs.5,000 per set in favour of PD, PMU,
Municipal Services Program, University Town, Peshawar. The pre-bid
meeting will be held on 14 May, 2015 at 11.30 AM at PMU office.
Bids, comprising Technical & Financial Bids, must be submitted in separate
sealed envelopes with clear marking of “TECHNICAL BID” &
“FINANCIAL BID” which will be received back on or before 26 May
2015 up to 2:00 P.M in office of the PD, PMU. Technical Bids of the
participating bidders will be opened on the same day at 2:30 P.M, by the
Bid Opening Committee in presence of participating bidders or their
authorized representatives who wish to be present. In case bids submission /
opening day declared a holiday the same will be submitted / opened on the
next working day.
Each bidder shall furnish a Bid Security equivalent to 02% (Two percent) of
quoted amount in favor of Employer, valid for a period of 60 days, in shape
of Bank Draft or Pay-Order from a Commercial Bank in Pakistan or from a
foreign bank duly counter guaranteed by a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan in
favor of Employer. The Bid Security shall be submitted with the Bid. The
Bids submitted without Bid Security will not be entertained and will be
declared non-responsive.
Bids should be carefully & neatly filled and signed by the bidders.
Incomplete Bids and overwritten or conditional Bids shall not be
entertained.
PMU may reject all or any Bids subject to relevant provision of PPRA
Rules.
