CALENDAR OF SENIOR ACTIVITIES CLASS OF 2015 NOTE: Below is a tentative schedule and is subject to change. May 8/11 Fri./Mon. Senior Finals –(Seniors are finished at the end of the day Monday.) Return all books/uniforms, tie up loose ends, and pay any remaining fees. May 12 Tuesday May 13 May 14 Wednesday Thursday No School Seniors 7:30 a.m. Senior grades and debtor’s list due No School Seniors 1:30 p.m. Speech/Singing Rehearsal #1 (StuCo President, Senior Class President, Top 2 GPAs) 9:15 a.m. Principal’s Speech; Cap/Gown Distribution—(Auditorium) Cap/Gown and tickets for each senior are distributed. (All school debts must be paid before cap/gown and tickets for commencement are issued. If you have not paid fees, you must do so through bookkeeping to receive your cap/gown.) 10:30 a.m. Practice for Senior Awards Night—(Auditorium) (Invited students are expected to attend this practice.) 1:00 p.m.‐2:00 p.m. Senior Picnic—(Wollman Park ‐ largest shelter across from pool) (There is no charge for students, however they must have signed up for the picnic; this covers students for Donuts/juice during Yearbook signing, as well) May 15 Friday 8:00 a.m.‐8:45 a.m. Yearbook signing—(Cafeteria) (Donuts/juice for those who signed up for the picnic/breakfast) 9:00 a.m.‐11:00 a.m. Commencement Practice—(Main gym) 6:00 p.m. Senior Awards Night—(Auditorium) Invited students should arrive in their graduation gowns by 5:30 p.m. May 16 Saturday 1:00 p.m. Speech/Singing Rehearsal #2—(Pioneer Stadium) 7:00 p.m. Commencement—(Pioneer Stadium; LHS Main/Small gym and Auditorium if inclement weather) Students should arrive by 6 p.m. in caps/gowns and line up in the main gym. 10:00 p.m.‐2 a.m. (Tentative time)—Project Graduation—(Play, Bounce & Jump) *Students will be issued 6 (blue) graduation tickets that may be used either inside in the event of inclement weather or outside, weather permitting. Students will receive an additional 10 (yellow) tickets that may only be used outside (or for overflow seating in the Small Gym/Auditorium). If students need more than 16 tickets for an outdoor ceremony, they may ask for additional yellow tickets after cap/gown distribution. *Students must complete the Senior Awards Form and Senior Exit Survey available through the Guidance Office prior to graduation.
