Videos will be prescreened for content and deemed “appropriate” by Life Promotions staff. If a
video doesn’t meet the requirements, you will have until April 10th to remake and submit a new
version, no extensions on deadline.
ONLINE FAN VOTING – APRIL 15 – 30, 2015
Lifest will post all accepted videos to the Lifest Official YouTube channel and links will be shared with all the bands. Your fans
need to simply “like” your video to vote.

The top 3 vote getters move onto the live competition at Lifest.
The $150 performance fee is due May 20, 2015 for bands moving on the live performance.
The live competition will be held on the Edge Stage on Saturday, July 11th at 11:00 am. (time etc. always sub to change)
Each band will play max 10 minutes or 2 songs, whichever is shorter, for a panel of judges who determine the winner.
The winner plays a 30 min set on the Edge stage the same day, July 11, at 12:00 pm. (time etc. always sub to change)
The winning artist will be entered into the Christian Festival Association National Talent Search along with winners
from other participating festivals. (done via video, not a live competition, no travel needed).
CHRISTIAN FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION (CFA) NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH
The winner of the CFA National Talent Search competition will receive offers for paid performance slot (in the $500-$1000
range) for all participating festivals for summer 2016. (2014 there were 12 festivals). Travel, lodging and expenses for the
national competition will be the sole responsibility of the Artist.

The top three artists moving on the live competition will be notified by May 5th.
These three artists need to pay the nonrefundable performance fee $150, due May 20, 2015 •
If not paid by May 20, Lifest will assume you are declining to play and will move to another artist.
Each artist will be contacted a few weeks before the event and be given details about the event including
onsite check-in.
PERFORMANCE FEES COVER:
• FULL EVENT wristbands for band members only (does not include family members or merch people).
• One On-Grounds Parking Pass with a Loading Permit for Saturday. o All other vehicles associated with the

performer’s party will have to purchase a pass and park in General Parking.
o If you attend Lifest Thursday or Friday you need to park in General parking – Winnebago County Park.
Backstage access to the Edge stage during performance only.
Backline usage fees.
Booth space and table near stage for one hour prior, during and after your performance.
NOT COVERED: Participating artists are completely responsible for all expenses in getting to and from the festival
and while at the event (travel cost, lodging, food, etc.).
PRODUCTION
• Each Band will be required to use the House Drum Set, with the exception of cymbals, snare, pedals and throne.
• Each Band will be required to use the House Bass Amp.
• Bands will have access to, but NOT required to use back line guitar amps and keyboards.
• In Ear monitors ARE available (4 stereo mixes) and wedges will also be provided. You provide your own ear buds.
MERCHANDISE
• Talent Search Artists do not pay a merchandise fee or percentage.
• You may sell merchandise at your stage one hour before and one hour after your set.
• We do not provide staff or change for your merchandise table and you do not receive a free ticket for someone to work
the table for you.
CANCELLATION, WITHDRAWAL & REASONS FOR DISMISSAL:
• Please do not sign up for the talent search if you are unsure of your ability to be at Lifest, July 11, 2015.
• LIFEST may cancel artist, if LIFEST deems in good faith that ARTIST has acted or spoken inappropriately or
inconsistent with Christian values outlined by the Holy Bible, or does not adhere to the Apostles Creed.

NO STICKERS ALLOWED AT LIFEST. If you bring them, you’ll be dismissed without playing, no refunds, etc.
NO HANDING OUT OF FLYERS OTHER THAN FROM YOUR MERCH BOOTH. If you do, you’ll be dismissed
without playing, no refunds, etc.

NO HANGING UP POSTERS OR FLYERS, ANYWHERE. Zero, zilch. Sayonara if you do. If you see other bands
doing ANY of these, it does not mean it is OK and that you can do it too. It means they didn’t read this. You’ll both be
dismissed.
DISCLAIMER
• All performing artists will be listed in the event program and included in certain parts of the event’s advertising

*Lifest and Life Promotions reserve the right to make the final determination regarding the acceptance or rejection of
any artist for any reason, thus the artists that perform at Lifest may NOT be the top 3 per voting.
Lifest and Life Promotions reserves the right to deny acceptance based on the music and content reviewed.
Lifest reserves the right to change final stages, slot times and slot lengths etc.
LIFEST retains the rights of cancellation and waiver of obligation, including relief due to any act or regulation of any
public authority or bureau, civil tumult, strike, epidemic, interruption in or delay of transportation services, war
conditions or national emergencies, or any other similar or dissimilar cause beyond the control of the Lifest leadership.

INDEMNIFICATION: The Artist warrants and represents to Event that it has full power and authority to enter into and
perform the Rider/Agreement. (will be sent to be signed after top 3 are chosen) ARTIST agrees that all their personal
property, supplies, equipment, and merchandise on the Lifest grounds shall be at their sole risk and hazard of their
operation, or those claiming by, through, or under their management. ARTIST agrees to indemnify and hold LIFEST
harmless from any and all liability, damage, expenses, cause of action, suits, claims or judgments arising from injury
to persons or property within and on the site of LIFEST which arises out of the act, or failure to act, or negligence of
ARTIST, its guests, employees, staff, volunteers or customers. ARTIST accepts these policies and assumes full
responsibility. Artist agrees to maintain for the protection of all persons employed by Artist, Worker’s Compensation
and Unemployment Insurance, and to comply with all applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code relating to
the collection and recording of the Federal and State Income Tax, as well as the provisions of the Federal Insurance
Contribution Act and the Federal Unemployment Tax Act.

INSURANCE: LIFEST has insured itself and has secured public liability insurance, however LIFEST cannot list
ARTIST, ARTIST’s vehicles, ARTIST’s merchandise or ARTIST’s equipment as additionally insured. LIFEST will not
provide copies of insurance certificates. ARTIST shall supply a certificate of Liability insurance before performing.
•
CHOICE OF LAW/FORUM: Should any problems arise, ARTIST and LIFEST will submit to the jurisdiction of courts in
the State of Wisconsin.
•
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS: ARTIST, at their sole expense, will conform and comply with the present or future laws,
statutes, ordinances, order, regulations, or requirements of any federal, state, or municipal government, or department
having jurisdiction which shall be applicable to any services rendered by ARTIST to LIFEST including performance,
copyright or licensing fees for performing at Event. Any and all performance or licensing fees and/or requirements are
the full responsibility of the agent, management and artist.
