Lilias Trotter Center APRIL 2015  PRAYER POINTS  UPDATE - “Pray that 10-15 practitioners working among Muslims will sign up for our first official LTC course (Islamic Foundations: A Christian Analysis of Islam’s Source Documents, April 1 - September 18, 2015). The registration deadline is March 23.” Thanks for praying, dear friends, but apparently our timing is not God’s timing! Due to lack of registrations we are postponing this course until early 2016. While disappointed, we are aware that there is a reason for how and why these changes happen. Do pray that we will plan well for future offerings and that God will draw just the right people for these courses.  Pray that God will draw many Houghton College students to Islam: A Christian Introduction. This course, offered at Houghton College in Fall 2015, will be taught by our own Dr. Don Little. Ask God that registrations would soar through the roof and that many younger students (freshmen and sophomores) would be drawn to ministry in the Muslim world through it. Pray, too, that approval for delivering this course online would be granted to enable many others to audit or receive credit for this class.  Ask God to provide for the current Houghton College Islamic Foundations class students and faculty ... ...who are traveling to Toronto the weekend of April 9 for a cross-cultural experience. This will include a visit to a mosque, a Coptic church service, and an Arabic evangelical church service.  Pray for God to protect the LTC faculty and staff. For us, and for many of you, it’s been a long, hard winter and we’re wrestling with sicknesses. Ask God to keep us healthy and strong and that nothing would hinder us from doing this work— a work we pray that will honor and glorify Him alone! Thank you.
