TO HONOUR THE APOSTLES TO THE SLAVS SAINTS CYRIL AND METHODIUS

The tradition of Saints Cyril and Methodius in the social development of the Slavs.
Slavonic histories, languages, literatures and cultures: conceptual issues.
Ukraine and the Ukrainians in the Slavonic and European Contexts.
Historiography and methodology of Slavonic Studies.
The colloquium is oriented at the issues of Western and Southern Slavs, their connections with
Ukraine and the Ukrainians as well as the history of Slavonic Studies. The official conference
languages will be all Slavonic languages. The application form may be sent by 10 April 2015. The
Committee reserves the right to reject the topics that do not meet the aim of the colloquium.
Correspondence participation in the colloquium is not allowed.
After delivering their reports, all participants of the colloquium should leave the panel chairperson the
abstract of their reports (up to 4000 characters with spaces), which are necessary for composing the final
account of the Conference.
The texts of some reports (0.5 up to 1 printing sheet) if agreed by the editorial board, may be
published in the academic journal "Problemy slovyanoznavstva." Materials are submitted to the editorial
board in electronic form (two copies with different DOC and RTF file names on a CD, or by email at:
[email protected]) and its printed version. Note: The electronic version must be saved as WORD
97-2003. The technical parameters are: Times New Roman 14; 1,5 spacing; general numbering of
footnotes. The page parameters are: A4; margins: left - 3 cm, right - 1 cm, top - 2 cm, bottom - 2 cm.
The Organizing Committee does not provide any reimbursements for travel and accommodation costs.
Registration fee amounts to 50 UAH.
