Police Community Report – March 26th 2015
We have had 3 reported domestic incidents in the last week all of which were preventable.
The behaviour displayed by some of those people, (including from one mother in front of
her daughter and grandson) was disgusting. How sad it is for young ones to see the nasty
side of these people. Alcohol was once again present and if I had my way, these people
would be banned from drinking for life. Time to dry the sponges out I think!!
We continue to seek and receive information about gang members and their activities. I
thank all those who stand up and pass on the information to us because we get great results
thanks to you. At the same time, I am disappointed by those that ‘turn a blind eye’. The
behaviour you ignore is the behaviour you are choosing to accept. The good people in this
community easily outnumber the criminals, so don’t be afraid to stand against those who
are a stain on the community.
An address near Whakamaru was the target of a greedy thief last week who stole a large
amount of meat. It is sad that we have to lock everything up like we do to avoid being a
victim of thieves, such as the one who ripped off this address. My message to the thief is,
“I hope you get sick from eating the stolen meat and sooner or later, I will catch you and
introduce you to the justice system”.

unrestrained children, you can do so anonymously by calling crime stoppers on 0800 555

up to 4 years in total.
We are seeking interest from registered electricians in the Mangakino area. There is
