BID INSTRUCTIONS
A. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Door County Parks Office at the Cherryland Airport on
3538 Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, Phone= (920) 746-9959. Bids must be received by
the Door County Parks Office by 1:00 p.m. on April 30, 2015, for a public bid opening.
B. Bid will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. Door County reserves the right to reject or
accept any or all bids or portions thereof. Door County also reserves the right to postpone bid
award for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening. Bids shall remain
firm for that period of time.
C. Bid must conform to the requirements of the instructions and specifications.
D. Bid Information provided by bidder must be legibly printed or type written.
E. Bid must be sealed in an opaque envelope and labeled according to bid.
F. Bids that are not timely received will not be accepted.
G. Bidders must answer all questions. Any unanswered will be considered non-compliant and
subject to bid rejection.
H. All bidders must fill in all blanks on the spec sheet: Mark “YES” if meeting or exceeding
specifications and “NO” if exceptions are taken. Any questions answered “NO“, must be
explained in a detailed description addressing variances and support documentation to support
reason why alternative should be considered as an equal and attached to the bid submitted.
Bidder must attach a copy of factory warranty for equipment being bid.

MINIMUM BID SPECIFICATIONS
These specifications describe and state minimum requirements of this vehicle. Bids submitted on
vehicles not meeting these minimum requirements will be subject to rejection. It is the intent of the
Door County Parks Department to purchase one unit that meets the following specifications and
requirements.
The following are intended as guidelines, all equivalent or comparable units will be considered.
It is the intent of these specifications to describe a 2015 heavy duty, 4x4 utility vehicle with cargo box.
Examples of utility vehicles that may meet the bid specifications: John Deere Gator HPX, Kubota RTV-X
Series 900, Polaris Ranger, Kawasaki Mule 4010, Bobcat 3400, or equivalent approved by Door County.
