Our Bench students have been actively practicing their lines, costumes are almost complete and trip preparations are nearing completion. We are sure to have an enjoyable and memorable time. The following package contains some important information regarding parents’ roles in preparing their children for this trip. This package should include: 1. Check List of Items to Pack for the Victoria Trip (Do not pack your child’s costume in their luggage. They are to bring their costume on the bus so we are ready for our morning performance in Chilliwack.) 2. Behavior Expectations 3. Meal Schedule – Parent and School Responsibilities. IF YOUR CHILD HAS FOOD ALLERGIES, PLEASE CONTACT LORI STEWART AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO SEND ITEMS FROM HOME TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR CHILD’S DIETARY NEEDS. 4. Itinerary and Important Numbers 5. Parental Waiver Form (To be returned by Friday April 17th) 6. Medical and Health Summary (To be returned by Friday April 17th) Any medication required by your child on the trip must be in its original package, labelled with the student‘s name as well as the dosage required. The medication should be in a Ziplock bag clearly labelled with your child’s name. The medication must be given to Mrs. Stewart prior to the trip. Please have it to her by May 5th. Thank you. IMPORTANT ITEMS TO NOTE: YOUR CHILD’S LUGGAGE (SMALL SUITCASE, SLEEPING BAG AND FOAMY) MUST BE LABELLED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME AND BROUGHT TO SCHOOL BY 4:00 PM ON THE NIGHT BEFORE THE TRIP (TUESDAY, MAY 5TH) SO VEHICLES CAN BE LOADED. ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 6TH, THE BUS WILL DEPART FROM BENCH SCHOOL AT 7:00 AM SHARP. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD IS HERE BY 6:45 AM WITH HIS/HER BACKPACK CONTAINING THEIR COSTUME, 2 Nut free SNACKS, a good nut free LUNCH, also a WATERBOTTLE. If you are planning to join us for the trip but are not a chaperone please indicate below if you wish to lodge with us at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (please note younger siblings cannot be accommodated at the church.)A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK MUST BE ON FILE WITH OUR DISTRICT in order to lodge with us. Also, if you wish to be part of our beach dinner and/or reservation at the Old Spaghetti Factory indicate the numbers below. You will be responsible for the cost of the meals. MRS.
