The Maine Building Officials & Inspectors Association’s 2015 Maine Code
Conference School (Co-sponsored by Maine Fire Chiefs’ Association) will
be held at the Sebasco Harbor Resort, Sebasco Estates, Maine on May
18-19, 2015. It is the only MBOIA sponsored event that offers vendor
representation. This is a great opportunity to exhibit your products and
services to potential clients. Prompt registration is strongly recommended,
as vendor space is limited. The exhibit area is an open format so doors
will be locked after the close of exhibition hours to ensure the security of
equipment, displays and materials.
The MBOIA has blocked rooms at the Sebasco Harbor Resort for May 17
and May 18. See the Overnight Accommodations insert in this packet for
room rates.
Monday, May 18th during the luncheon, MBOIA will sponsor a vendor
showcase. Each vendor will be given the opportunity to do a short
presentation regarding their product and services. Also, there will be a
vendor reception on Monday from 4-5 p.m. in the vendor area. If you
are interested in contributing a door prize, please specify on the attached
registration form.

Exhibit Terms
Location of Exhibits
The 2015 Maine Code Conference will be held at Sebasco Harbor Resort, Sebasco Estates,
Maine. MBOIA reserves the right to make such modifications and changes in exhibit space
assignments and floor plan as may be necessary to meet the needs of the exhibitors and
registrants. Space is limited, and exhibit space will be assigned by date received on a “first
come - first paid” basis.
Exhibit Space Equipment and Service Information
Each exhibit space rented will include an 8-foot skirted table (see exhibit floor plan for
placement). Power will be provided.
Exhibitors’ Representative Admission
Each exhibit space rented will include an 8’x6’ space, 8' table with cover and two chairs,
standard 110 power, (2) tickets for Monday and Tuesday’s luncheons, Continental Breakfast
for both days and breaks.
Installation and Removal Time
Exhibitors will be allowed to set up between the hours of 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday,
May 18, 2015. Displays must be installed by 11:00 AM on Monday, May 18. There is no space
available for storage of empty cartons, crates, etc.

Exhibit Facility
The Exhibitor assumes responsibility and liability for losses, damages and claims arising out of
injury or damage to the Exhibitors’ displays, equipment and other property brought upon the
premises of Sebasco Harbor Resort. The Exhibitor shall indemnify and hold harmless Sebasco
Harbor Resort and MBOIA and their agents, servants and employees from any and all such
losses, damages and claims. There are no other agreements of warranty between the Exhibitor
and MBOIA except as set forth in this document. The rights of MBOIA, under this contract,
shall not be deemed waived except as specifically stated, in writing, and signed by an
authorized officer of MBOIA.
Security and Insurance
The Exhibitor is solely and fully responsible for its own exhibit material and should insure its
exhibit against loss or damage from any causes whatsoever. All property of the Exhibitor is
understood to remain in its care, custody, and control, in transit to or from within the confines
of the facility.
Cancellation of Event
In the event it is necessary to cancel all, or a portion of the Spring Conference and/or the
exhibits due to any cause beyond the direct control of the MBOIA including, but not limited to,
damage to, or destruction of, the convention and exhibit building, labor strikes, adverse
weather conditions, the Exhibitor shall be reimbursed for actual direct costs not incurred by
MBOIA.
Cancellation of Registration
All cancellations received after the deadline of May 8, 2015 are 100% non-refundable.
