WE HAVE AMBITIOUS PLANS TO GROW

In the Medical School at Exeter, everything
we do is designed to make a positive impact
regionally, nationally and internationally to
the health, prosperity and wellbeing of
individuals and communities.
The University was one of three winners to
receive additional government funding
following REF2014. For Medicine, 84% of
our research was rated as world leading or
internationally excellent. We are now
investing in ambitious plans to grow, as a
central priority of University strategy.
Our transdisciplinary research teams work
together by applying their specialisms to
understand health and disease, to undertake
interventions and change care, ensuring the
widest positive impacts of our research.
We focus our research on two broad
frameworks: promoting health through the
life course, through our themes of
Environment and Human Health and Ageing
and Public Health; and generating and
implementing research evidence which
supports individuals living well with disease,
through our research themes of Diabetes
and Cardiovascular Risk, Neuroscience and
Mental Health, and Health Services
Research.
We wish to appoint talented and experienced:
Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, Associate
Professors and Professors, both clinical and
non-clinical across multiple specialisms
We’re proud to be innovators in education too,
focused on training collaborative leaders who
are well equipped to lead the NHS and
healthcare in exciting new directions.
Committed to working with our partners to
deliver a world class student experience, our
research-intensive learning environment
enables our students to develop top class
clinical and scientific skills and also benefit from
our principles of translating our discoveries to
personalised care and healthy communities.
As part of our ambitious plans for expansion
we wish to appoint talented and experienced
Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, Associate
Professors and Professors, both clinical and
non-clinical across multiple specialisms. We
particularly welcome applications from
candidates holding individual fellowships and
may make additional appointments to suitably
qualified candidates.
