N OTE FROM THE D IRECTOR
Thank You…to our members who
Dear Friends…
What a difference going to a movie can make! Recently I had an opportunity to see the new Cinderella movie with my grandchildren. I expected to be entertained for sure but much to my amazement
it was enlightening as well. Not only a charming fairy tale, this real life version has a wonderful moral to the story about life.. The basis is to live your
life with courage, kindness and the view of what could be not what should
be. And you know I can’t stop thinking of all of you members who are examples of all of these qualities! Day in and day out you belong and participate here at the center and demonstrate courage, kindness and living your
lives with social interaction, education and wellness in mind. You do these
things because you could do them not because you should. Who knew a
fairy tale would evoke thoughts of a senior center? It is a fact, life can be
better if we can just get back to basic principles. I am happy to see everyday that you hold true to the basics and are such a pleasure to be around.
Thank you for demonstrating what could be-you are all in your individual
ways an inspiration.
Have a Happy Easter, for Peeps Sakes!

Are you an OPTIMIST or a PESSIMIST! A glass half full or a glass half empty kind of
person! Or are you a partly sunny or a partly cloudy person!
It amazes me how some people always see the negative side to things. I “feel” if we look on
the bright side of life, the sad events never seem so harsh.
We all have strife in our lives but when you look for one bright spot, maybe a smile, a hug, or
some sunshine, we can make it through to the other side.
Don’t get me wrong, there are always times when you just aren’t sure you’re going to make it,
but somehow we do. Having wonderful, caring, loving friends and family are a definite plus.
So are you an OPTIMIST or a PESSIMIST?
I will see you on the “sunnyside”!!!!!!!!!
