Effective 19 April 2015 Welcome Aboard Metro This guide will enable you to understand and plan a bus journey using the comprehensive northern Hobart bus network operated by Metro Tasmania. Our services can form part of your daily travel requirements and we are committed to providing you with the best possible bus services to get you around. Refer to main map on page 3 for detailed route information. Brighton Bus routes Bus interchange Honeywood Bridgewater The map on page 3 shows all services operating in our regular bus network and are colour coded for easy reference. The large numbers around the map are the route numbers shown on the front the bus. Departure times for these services, along with information about additional dedicated school buses, can be found by obtaining a copy of our timetables by calling 13 22 01 or visiting www.metrotas.com.au Your guide to Metro bus services in the northern Hobart region Gagebrook Granton Compton Downs Granton Abbotsfield Claremont Chigwell Otago Old Beach Glenorchy Berriedale N Otago Hobart City Montrose Fern Tree Jackson St A Greencard is like a debit card; you top it up with travel credit on any Metro bus (cash only), online or at a Metro agent. When you board a bus the cost of the trip is deducted from your balance. Get your Greencard today by applying online, posting a paper application form or from your local Metro agent. For more information about fares and ticket types, including details about section zones in the northern Hobart area, call 13 22 01 or visit www.metrotas.com.au Glenorchy to Hobart City The Glenorchy to Hobart City corridor is made up of a number of bus routes (see map overleaf) which combine to form a high-frequency service seven days a week. Travelling via Main Road, New Town Road and Elizabeth Street through Moonah, New Town and North Hobart, buses are scheduled to operate approximately every: MINS MONDAY–FRIDAY, 7am–7pm, MINS SATURDAY, 7am–7pm, MINS SUNDAY & PUB HOLS, 7am–7pm. Buses also service the corridor outside of these hours refer to individual timetables.
