Moe Anderson Mrs. Anderson has been teaching
Waldorf curriculum for more than
13 years. She is a Facilitator at the
Micha-el Institute for since2010. Her
credentials include a Bachelor of
Science, SUNY@ Potsdam, NY; a
Master’s in Education, Lesley University, Cambridge, MA; and a MI
Teaching Certificate . She is also a
Professor of Ceramics, Fine Arts and
Communication Department, Central Oregon Community College
Jim Conlon
Jim Conlon has been teaching in Waldorf Education for the past 29 years
and is currently taking his third class
Although the Micha-el Institute began
in Portland, Oregon in 1999 when a
young Waldorf School in Oregon
asked John Miles to train its prospective teachers, its seeds had been sown
in 1993-95 when as administrator of
the Portland Waldorf School John
taught many courses on preparing to
be a Waldorf Teacher.
It has always been its mission to bring
Anthroposophy, the Arts and Waldorf
Teacher Training to the Portland area.

Valerie learnt her Anthroposophical painting from Karo
Bergmann of Dusseldorf and
has been a class teacher for
45 years She has a Masters
in Anthroposophical Art
Therapy from Tobias School
of Art UK.
John Miles
Mrs. Elmore’s Waldorf experience
includes more than 15 years teaching in Waldorf environments, from
early childhood to elementary
grades. She holds a Teaching Certificate for Early Childhood and
Elementary Grades, Micha-el Institute, Portland, OR. She is also a
Licensed Massage Therapist since
1998.
Born in 1942, John Miles has been involved in Waldorf Teacher Training since
1974 in the United Kingdom, Canada
and the United States, and is at the
present time Director of the Micha-el
Institute in Portland, Oregon. He is a
well known lecturer, evaluator and mentor in Waldorf Schools in North America
and Japan.
