JUNIOR OLYMPIC TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
Boy’s Tournament Dates:
Girl’s Tournament Dates:
July 25th – July 28th (Saturday – Tuesday)
July 30th – August 2nd (Thursday – Sunday)
Most athlete’s and/or families fly out the day or two before the tournament begins. Flights are the
responsibility of athlete/family. Once the teams have qualified we suggest booking flights as soon as possible.
The athletes/teams will be staying at the Best Western Plus in Orange County – very near John Wayne Airport
and centrally located to the competition pools. There will be a block of rooms available to parents/family
members. Transportation to and from the hotel and pools will be provided by the club for the athletes and
coaches. We suggest that family members try to carpool as much as possible. The club will also provide a
team/club dinner at the hotel the night before the first tournament date with a team meeting to follow.
Breakfast will be included with the hotel accommodations while lunch will the responsibility of the athlete
though the coaches will provide transportation to restaurants when necessary.
Each team will play between 7-11 games while they are out in California – schedules will be dictated by how
each team performs. If at all possible (schedules will determine) teams will try and support other age groups
by attending a game.
