Our Story
Founded in 2002, Mile High Vaulters serves recreational and competitive vaulters, as well as adult and
adaptive (special needs) vaulters. Our club has more than doubled its membership in the last two years.
With our continually improving program and growing experience, we’ve diversified our offerings while
keeping this sport affordable and accessible for families across Northern Colorado.

Every year Mile High competes at the regional and national levels. Additionally, this year some of our
upper level vaulters are competing to qualify for Team USA for the Junior World Championships in
Ermelo, Netherlands in August. Qualification involves traveling to competitions across the Western
USA and BC, Canada. Also unique to this year, the 2015 AVA National Championships will be held at
The Ranch in Loveland, Colorado, providing our sponsors and supporters with the opportunity to see
Mile High Vaulters compete among our friends from across the United States.
All competitions, small and large, near and far, provide vaulters at all levels with a valuable opportunity
to learn important life skills such as planning, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Being ready for these
competitions requires a significant investment, physically and financially, in both our human and equine
athletes so they can deliver their peak performances.
Our goal is to raise $20,000+ in cash and in-kind partnerships to fund our 2015 journey. To meet
this challenge, we have specific and general needs. Some examples of our in-kind needs this year
