REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE RECOVER Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, and Dispose WASTE MANAGEMENT IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS DISPOSE All Students are invited to take part in the DEH Waste Pyramid Essay & Poster Competition If you care about the health of the environment and would like to share your ideas, take part in this competition and win cool prizes! Entries must be based on the theme “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, and Dispose Waste Management in the Cayman Islands”. Entries can also be submitted to your school office. Participants may enter both categories. Essay Competition Entry Rules Poster Competition Entry Rules • Only 1 entry per student between 6-16 years old. • Entries must be accompanied by an entry form. • Posters must be submitted on 8.5 x 11 in sheet of paper. • Students may use traditional mediums such as pencil, pen, markers, and paints for the poster. • Posters must include elements found in the Cayman environment. • Only 1 entry per student between 6-16 years old. • Entries must be accompanied by an entry form. • Submissions must be typed and double spaced. • Students ages 6-11 years old may submit hand written entries. Maximum length of essay 5 pages. • Students ages 12-16 years old submissions must be emailed to [email protected]. Maximum length 8 pages. • Essay should include references to the Cayman Islands.
