In continuation of the advertisement dated 31.05.2015, the “Search Committee” at the
meeting held on 25th June, 2015 at MKU considered in detail about the appeal made
by Teachers Orgnisations to include distinguished academics serving in
Colleges
also in the panel for appointment of Vice-Chancellor (VC) of MKU, citing the recent
Judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court (Civil Appeal Nos.5946-5947 of 2014 ), and
unanimously resolved
to accept the appeal. Accordingly
the qualification for
appointment as VC of MKU is as follows:
Applicant should have outstanding academic record throughout and a
minimum of 10 years teaching experience as a
Professor/Associate
Professor in a University System* or in an equivalent position in reputed
research and/or academic or administrative organization, besides having
proven leadership qualities and administrative capabilities.
*University System means University Departments and Affiliated Colleges.
Last date for submission of Curriculum Vitae is extended
up to 5.30 pm on 24-07-2015
