Welcome to our Humble little tiki hut where you will find
“The fantastic tiki bar”,
Where drinks are traditionally zesty and punchy
Rather than foo-foo and sweet.
Just left of our “oversized” Rum barrel booths lies,
“Joe’s galley”,
or “kitchen” to land dwellers.
We call our style of cuisine “share fare”
And believe all food is meant to be shared…
However we don’t judge if you want your meal all to yourself, you are not
alone 
our chef’s inspiration For this menu
spans all the known TIKI kingdoms of the pacific rim.
from the South China Sea to Chile
with an emphasis on flavourful and exotic food.
If spicy food scares you...Just a little, tell our staff and the kitchen will
“tame down” your meal for you.

South Pacific Dipping Plate – (V) - $8.50
A combination of our own South Pacific “Dukka” (Dry Spice Mix), Chinese black vinegar
reduction, cinnamon olive oil and handmade roti bringing all the Pacific flavours into one
dipping plate.

Super little delights dusted with handmade chilli & lime-leaf salt served with Joe’s Japanese

Tropical Guacamole (v gf) - $12.50
Joe’s awesome tangy tropical guacamole made with avocado, coriander, red
onion, tomato and lime juice, topped w/ fresh tropical
salsa, served w toasted tortilla chips
Penang Pirate Planks (GF, V) - $10.50
Penang Island lies between the Malaysian mainland and Sumatra.
Once a fertile ground for Spanish sailors and pirates alike we have taken inspiration from
both countries combining Malaysian curry and Spanish Polenta to create a crispy dipping
plank served w a coconut and lime dipping sauce

Choose between, Louisiana hot sauce (We are not kidding they’re hot),
Chinese hoi sin and ginger or spicy Thai Som Tam, after all variety is the spice of life.
Guava Chilli poppers (V) - $5.00 ea or 3 for $13.50
Only for the “mildly” brave.
Whole Jalapeno Chillies, sliced open then stuffed with a guava & citrus zest cream cheese,
stitched back up, lightly crumbed and fried and served with a
cranberry and orange dipping sauce.

Enjoy the view from our balcony with a basket of crispy Pork won tons with
Joe’s sweet and spicy dipping sauce
Duck on Betel Leaves x 4 (gfA) $13.50
A glorious combination of Peking roasted Duck, ginger, leek, Enoki
mushroom lightly dressed with hoi sin and oyster sauce marinade. (GFA with

Best eaten while listening to duelling banjos.
Tender pieces of chicken coated with a southern style herbed crumb, fried until crispy
and served with salad and a tasty tomato relish for dipping
Rendang rolls (4) - $16.50
Rendang is spicy meat dish which originated from the Minangkabau people of
Indonesia and is now served in curry houses all over the world. To make this dish
easier to share we have filled spring rolls with our Rendang and serve it with a minted
yoghurt dipping sauce..BOOM!

Fresh caught whole fish, flash fried and served on a bed of crunchy noodles, topped with a
fragrant coriander slaw and served with a booming Thai dressing made from chilli, ginger,
lime leaf, shallot and lime juice (Som Tam). More than enough to share….if you are inclined

Back for winter!
Two serves of Joe’s popular Cajun style Gumbo with prawns, chicken, chorizo & rice, served
with chargrilled sour dough for dipping….it truly is awesome.

Guacamole, refried beans, smoky sweet corn salsa on a bed of slaw w sides of sour cream
and shredded Colby cheese served in a crispy tortilla bowl you can eat!

Slow cooked pumpkin and Lentil Dahl cooled and turned into spring rolls.

Braised for a dynasty!
Rich, sticky, lean Pork belly…braised overnight in Chinese master-stock, compressed and wok
fried with Joes stir-fry sauce, shallots and ginger served with Vic’s special chilli jam. Great with
a side of jasmine rice
Funky Fijian chicken Curry (gf) - $17.50
Something to really coup about 
A sweet and spicy tropical curry made from coconut, banana, peanuts, spiced with chilli,
served with fresh lime leaf, coriander, fried shallots and roti.
Perfect with a side of rice.
All you need is Larb….Sliders (3) - $15.50
Thai marinated pulled beef, tossed with chilli, mint, coriander, red onion and glass noodles
served cold on crunchy Asian slaw between warm toasted sesame topped brioche buns.
