Mokuyokai member and calligrapher, Kisyuu will lead a
calligraphy workshop for Mokuyokai. This is a great
chance to learn and enjoy both traditional & modern
calligraphy art. No experience and Japanese language
skills are necessary. Let’s enjoy calligraphy!!

Join us for our monthly evening of fun, laughter and

Hiking - Bowen Island – April 18
Join Mokuyokai for a hike up Mt. Gardner on beautiful
Bowen Island for a commanding view of the Sunshine
Coast, Vancouver and Burrard Inlet. We meet
downtown and bus to Horseshoe Bay to take the ferry
to Snug Cove on Bowen Island. The hike itself is long
with some steep bits but good for most fitness levels.

Park (easy hike) – May 10
Join Mokuyokai for a hike around the 175 hectare park
located in the northeast corner of Coquitlam features
trails, picnic facilities, rock knolls, lots of cedar and fir
trees, birds and other wildlife.
The hike itself is easy and good for beginners.

におしゃべりを楽しみたい人が誰でも自由に参加でき
ます。事前申し込みは必要ありません。（注）前菜
は用意されていますが、自分でオーダーした食べ物・
飲み物は各自で精算して下さい。政府発行の身分証明
書（顔写真付き）が必要です（カナダの運転免許証、
BCI D、又はパスポート) 。

木曜会とボウエン･アイランドにハイキングに行
きませんか？集合はバンクーバー市内。そこから
バスとフェリーでボウエン・アイランドに行きま
す。ハイキング自体は長く所々に急斜があります
が初心者の方でも大丈夫です。

がらメンバーたちと交流しましょう。

ハイキング：ミネカダ公園（５月１０
日）
５月に入り気候も良くなった頃、木曜会ハイキン
グに参加しませんか？コキットラム方面にある大
自然に囲まれた大きな公園のハイキングコースを
歩きます。初心者でも楽しめる、簡単なハイキン
グコースです。その後にお茶の時間も設けてあり
ます。
