Story Time for Sidekicks
Super School-Agers
Children ages 0-2 and their caregivers are
encouraged to join us for a story time just
for babies and toddlers!
Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10 AM/ No
programming the week of July 4th.
No registration required.
Calling superheroes going into grades 1
through 6! You are invited to explore,
learn, and create this summer at MPL on
Wednesdays. Please choose either the
morning or afternoon program.
Wednesdays in June and July/ No
programming the week of July 4th.
10:00-11:00 AM OR 1:00-2:00 PM
No registration required.
PAWS To Read
Is your child an emergent reader? Stop by
the library and read to Fluff or Darla the
Library Dogs! Kids grades K-3 should
bring reading material of their choice.
Tuesdays at 11 AM, except 6/30/15.
Registration is required and slots are
limited.
Every Hero Has A Story!
Summer Reading Program
All ages are encouraged to chart reading
this summer. No worries about number of
books, time limits, or titles: read what you
want! Bring your reading logs back weekly
for chances to win gift cards!
Stop by MPL to register for the
Summer Reading Program starting
May 18th! The summer
reading program runs
through June and July
and ends July 25th.
Superhero Story Time
Preschoolers are invited to enjoy stories,
songs, and crafts at MPL! Ages 3-6 and
their caregivers are encouraged to join us
each week for hero-themed programs just
for you.
Tuesdays or Thursdays at 11 AM/ No
programming the week of July 4th.
Fabric Art@The Library!
Children in grades 1 and up are invited to
create an original piece of fabric art with
renowned local artist Stephanie Lewis
Robertson!
Friday, June 5th.

Join us to kick off our Summer Reading
Program: Every Hero Has a Story! Sign up
for summer reading, choose your free
book, and enjoy activities with the family!
Thursday, May 28th from 5-7 PM in
the MPL Community Room.
No registration required.
Superhero Show and Museum!
Family Time Entertainment and Magic
Don Miller will present a superhero show,
followed by the opportunity to check out
cool superhero memorabilia in the Mini
Museum!
***We will be handing out wristbands
for this event. Wristbands will be
available beginning at 5:30. Once all
wristbands are distributed, the event
will be closed.
Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 PM in the
MPL Community Room.
Minnetrista Theatre
Minnetrista Theatre is back for another
show! Offbeat characters, laugh-out-loud
humor, slapstick action, and charming
puppets and props will guide and engage
children as they learn what makes a hero!
***We will be handing out wristbands
for this event. Wristbands will be
available beginning at 5:30. Once all
wristbands are distributed, the event
will be closed.
Thursday, June 11th at 6:00 PM in the
MPL Community Room.
Dinner With Dad (And Other Dudes!)
Bring the "dude" in your life to a fun-filled
evening at the library! Children ages 4-12
are invited to bring Dad, Grandpa, or a
special guy to this event. Game Truck will
be here to provide video gaming, and pizza
will be served!
Thursday, June 25th from 6:00-8:00
PM in the MPL Community Room.
Registration is required.
Saturday Crafternoons
Silly Safaris Animal Show
Join us for another spectacular animal
show with Silly Safaris! See live animals,
learn about them, and have fun all at the
same time!
***We will be handing out wristbands
for this event. Wristbands will be
available beginning at 5:30. Once all
wristbands are distributed, the event
will be closed.
Thursday, June 18th at 6:00 PM in the
MPL Community Room.
Teddy Bear Sleepover
Children ages 2-5 are invited to bring
their stuffed toys to the library for some
fun! After we sing, dance, read a story,
have a snack, and make a craft, it will be
time to put our teddies to bed at the
library. Stuffed animals should be picked
up by 11 AM on July 10.
July 9 at 6:00 PM. Registration is
required and slots are limited.
Drop in for a make and take craft on Saturdays! All
supplies will be furnished. All ages welcome and no
registration is required.
