The Garage and General Store Cafe is modelled on a 1920’s
art deco design and is home to a private collection of Morris
Minors and other historical vehicles dating back to 1926.
The classic car collection is flanked by a comprehensive display of dealer signs and
advertising memorabilia relating to a bygone era of motoring. Your visit includes
a history of the collection and a guided tour of selected vehicles.
‘Windrush Park’ Extra Virgin Olive Oil, is produced on the property and you are
invited to sample the varieties of oil. The oil may be purchased at a ‘Garage special’
wholesale price.
‘Windrush Park’ is also home to the studio and garden of renowned local artist
Claire McKellar. The painting studio is open (unless otherwise booked) and
Claire’s paintings are on display, and available for purchase.
Relax in our new Cafe & enjoy the view
After viewing the cars and exploring the magnificent garden, take a trip down
memory lane. Unwind and relax and enjoy your complimentary coffee and Morris
Minor shortbread biscuit in the ambiance of the General Store Cafe. The view from
the Cafe and the smell of freshly ground coffee will captivate you.
Situated high in the granite hills of North Harcourt, the Garage and Cafe is surrounded
by an olive grove and a large country garden. With ample clear areas for car parking –
the picturesque views make the venue perfect for events.
Located 20 minutes from Bendigo and 1½ hours from Melbourne, Harcourt is an ideal
rally destination with many local tourist attractions within a short driving distance
from the Garage.
