PRESENTS BREW SKIES FESTIVAL at TIMBERLINE RESORT AUGUST 21st & 22nd, 2015 www.brewskiesfestival.com FOOD & VENDOR APPLICATION FESTIVAL OVERVIEW Join us on two dates: August 21st & 22nd, 2015. Music starts at 5pm on Friday and ends at 12am. Saturday will feature music from 11am to 12am. We’ll have a full lineup of both national and local musicians, as well as kids activities, local food vendors, craft vendors and West Virginia craft breweries. Located at the beautiful Timberline Four Seasons Resort in Canaan Valley WV, our goal is to provide a family friendly, locally supportive, West Virginia craft beer and music event. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Festival Dates : Friday August 21st from 3pm12am (music starts at 6pm Friday) & Saturday August 22nd from 11am12am (music starts at 12pm Saturday). Set Up Time : Friday August 21 between the hours of 8am and 1pm ( Food vendors must be set up no later than 1pm for the Health Inspector ). Vending Fees: $125 for craft vendors, includes 2 tickets; $225 for food vendors, includes 2 tickets. All fees must be submitted prior to the festival. Rooms sell out fast throughout the area, please secure lodging well in advance. Application Deadline: July 15, 2015 FESTIVAL SITE REQUIREMENTS Festival Location: Timberline Four Seasons Resort 254 Four Seasons Dr. Davis, WV 26260 Craft Vendor Setup must be completed on Friday, August 21st between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Booth breakdown and cleanup must be completed by Sunday August 23rd by 11am. Food Vendor Setup must be completed by 1pm on Friday, August 21st. If you are not set up when the health department arrives, you will forfeit your spot for the weekend. Booth clean up must be completed by Sunday, August 23rd by 11am. Meal tickets will be provided for a portion of the entertainers as part of their riders. Vendor is responsible for removing debris and ensuring the general cleanliness of the area surrounding their booths throughout the festival and following its conclusion. All food vendors are required to obtain an inspection from the Tucker County Health Department. Health inspection certificates must be posted on your booth, within sight, for the duration of the festival. (304)4783572 All craft and food vendors must have proof of a West Virginia Business License and present it to the vending coordinator upon arrival. You will not be permitted to set up without proof of license. Vendor space is 10x10. Additional space can be purchased. Canopy Tents,Tables, and/or Chairs will NOT be supplied. Electricity is available. Requests for these items MUST be made at the time of application. All electrical cords must be secured down and vendor is to ensure they do not create a safety hazard throughout the festival. Vendors should prepare for low lighting as sufficient lights in festival area will not be used at night, task lighting and string lights would be great options. Please bring your own outdoor extension cords. The Brew Skies Festival has the ultimate right to approve or disapprove of any items being sold by vendor. All applications are subject to approval by selection committee. Sale of food, water and/or other beverages by craft vendors is not permitted. No food or craft vendors will be permitted to sell alcohol. SAFETY AND SECURITY ● Vendors shall sell and serve goods, food, or beverages at their own risk. ● Security will be provided throughout the festival and overnight, however, the Brew Skies Festival is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of goods, equipment, or display furnishings. ● Applicants must obey all pertinent safety codes and laws, including, but not limited to, fire, safety and parking regulations. ● Vendors will have access to festival site to unload their goods during the scheduled setup and breakdown times detailed above. All vendors must then move their vehicle to designated parking locations. ● Canopy tents must be fire retardant. ● The event will take place rain or shine. Vendors agree to be present despite weather conditions. Each vendor is responsible for preparing their displays to withstand weather fluctuations including rain and wind. ● Event participants agree to allow use of video and photography taken by festival organizers at the event for promotional purposes. ● Any photos taken by the event are the property of The Brew Skies Festival. ● All propane tanks are required to be anchored securely. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER Applicants must comply with all Festival, municipal and state rules, regulations and policies listed in this application, or policies included in the applicant acceptance notification. Any noncompliance will cause elimination and applicant may be immediately removed from the Festival with no refund of fees or compensation for expenditures. Applicants also may be barred from acceptance to future events. The Festival, in its sole discretion, may reserve the right to refuse participation by any applicant, entertainer, food vendor or any other such participant for any reason. The Festival is not liable for refunds or any other liabilities whatsoever for applicant’s failure to obey the rules and regulations or due to the unstable condition of the area in which the Festival is produced, caused by, but not limited to, weather, fire or other calamity, any act of nature, public enemy, strikes, statutes, ordinances or any legal authority or any other cause beyond control of the Festival. By fulfilling application and engaging in participation, all applicants release and hold harmless The Brew Skies Festival. Applicants will initiate any legal proceedings arising from violations of these terms and conditions in Tucker County, West Virginia.
