Vendors & Crafters The Clarendon County Striped Bass Festival Committee invites you to be a part of the festival, Saturday, April 25, 2015, around the Courthouse Square in Manning, SC. Booth spaces will be reserved on a first come basis as we receive PAYMENT for them. Deadline for submission of applications is March 25, 2015. Registration will be at the Festival Booth located in the back corner of the Post Office on Mill Street, beginning at 6:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. Every vendor will receive ONE vehicle pass with your acceptance note. Festival committee members will be available to help you unload your vehicle quickly in order to allow other vendors to reach their designated space. All vehicles must have a vehicle pass before the police will let you enter the downtown area and all vehicles must be removed from the crafts area by 8:30 a.m. If you sell from a vehicle, please make a note of special arrangements on this form. We provide space only; you must provide your own tables, chairs, etc., and you are responsible for keeping your space clean and litter-free. We will have a dumpster in your area for you to empty your trashcans. All food vendors must provide one large trash container next to their space. DO NOT DUMP ANY OIL ANYWHERE BUT THE APPROVED RECEPTICLE. No generators, only one crockpot, and only 110 voltage can be provided. Vendors will be permitted to sell from an assigned booth space only; NO SHOPPING CARTS WILL BE ALLOWED. The sale of any product considered to be of an offensive, destructive or distasteful nature, i.e. string in a can, stink bombs, water guns, knives, snap & pops, etc. will not be allowed. There will be NO EXCLUSIONS and NO SHIRT SALES. NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED. Festival participants are expected to be sober, friendly, courteous and cooperative at all times. Food Vendors must comply with DHEC Food Service Guidelines. Vendors are required by S.C. State Law to obtain a S.C. Sales Tax License, or apply for and receive an exemption. There is no refund in the event of bad weather or past the deadline date of March 27th. The Festival Committee reserves the right to refuse anyone admission to the Festival, and anyone not complying with Festival regulations will be required to leave the area. Anyone not leaving when requested will be escorted from the Festival area by the police. Neither Clarendon County, The Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce or the Striped Bass Festival Committee nor any agent or agency representing either the County, the Chamber or the Committee is responsible for any damages, real or punitive, bodily injury or damage from the public, weather or acts of God. Your signature on the vendor application indicates agreement to abide by all of the Festival Regulations.
