Looking at the volunteer sign ups for this Friday, there are plenty of set up, fryers, and clean up volunteers, but we need more kitchen crew and runners, as some of our “regulars” will not be here this week. Lenten Study Our Lenten Study, Roots and W ings; Nurturing Our Spiritual Life, concludes this Sunday morning at 9:00 (Adult Sunday School). Please join us in the Peters Room as we learn more about our individual “Spiritual Types” and the “Circle of Sensibility.” Maundy Thursday Service and Soup Dinner Please join us April 2 for the Maundy Thursday simple supper (6:00 pm), followed by a special celebration of the Lord’s Supper around the tables (7:00 pm) as we remember the new commandment to “love one another.” Please RSVP on the sign up sheet in the Gathering Room so that we may get a headcount. One Great Hour of Sharing The collection for the One Great Hour of Sharing special offering will be taken on Easter Sunday. A gift to One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed. Boy Scouts’ Rummage Sale Saturday, April 11 The Boy Scouts Troop 258 will hold their annual Rummage Sale on Saturday April 11 from 8:00 am—2:00 pm. If you have any donations for the Troop, they will take: small household appliances, gently used sporting equipment, electronics including TV's and computers, bedding (but no mattresses), tools and garden equipment, toys and books, gently used clothing and shoes from infant to adult. Kitchen ware including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are gladly accepted as well. Larger pieces of furniture and lamps, tables, chairs are welcome, however, they cannot accept infant or toddler car seats or play pens due to safety recall issues. A table will be set up in the Fellowship Hall where donations may be dropped off at the Fish Fry this Friday or while you are here for services on Sunday. Presbyterian Disaster Relief 2015 Mission Trip Because Jesus calls us to serve, 2015’s Storm Relief Mission Team will head to Conway, Arkansas May 3rd-9th to rebuild after damage caused by tornadoes in April 2014.
