These pages are on the Freeview digital network not analogue. There can be up to 10 pages in use and these should appear on Freeview pages 501 – 510 using the names TIMING1, TIMING2 or Timing Information Page 1, Timing Information Page 2 etc. depending on your TV. The pages are HD & widescreen and because of this we have been able to fit both the classification and sector times onto the same page as well as fitting 30 competitors per page (see below image). We have also added a predictive tracking map to the pages (see image below) which until now has been used exclusively in Race Control. Most modern Freeview TVs should be able to pick up this signal without the need for a Freeview HD tuner. However, during pre-season testing we have come across some old Freeview TVs and some no-name brands that refuse to pick up the signal or are particularly troublesome to tune in. We have had a 90% success rate with LG, Samsung & Sony TVs that are less than 3 years old. Because of this we will output Page 1 (top 30) and the Eurosport pictures on analogue too as a stop gap measure. To 100% guarantee that your TV will pick up the new timing pages, it should have a Freeview HD tuner. We will be checking along the garages during the pre-season Donington test and the first few rounds to assist with any tuning issues. New Classification page with sector times and speed traps. Images next to Race Number: Yellow Arrow – no position change Red Arrow with number – dropped that many positions Green Arrow with number – improved that many positions Cog – In Pit Warning Triangle – Missing New Tracking Page – blobs move at a rate that matches the last time through that sector.
