Class Descriptions
Alignment Yoga Level 1: For the Beginner or Senior who wants to increase balance, grow stronger, and
become more flexible. Must be able to stand well on both feet, and must be able to get up and down off the
floor without assistance.
Barre Sculpt/ Barre Weights: These classes combine precise muscle sculpting and stretching principles
using a ballet barre as well as free weights. They will create the long, lean lines of a dancer at a pace that
burns fat and sculpts muscle. The weights class will encourage the use of heavier weights. Modifications will
be provided for all levels.
Barre Cardio: This class will focus on cardio endurance while using the ballet barre. Modifications will be
provided for all levels.
Body Sculpting: A challenging class that uses free weights, bands and stability balls to build muscle
strength.
Cardio Weights: This class will be a combination of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Circuits with light
weights will be incorporated into the class. Each interval includes 5 different exercises that are implemented
in short timed segments before moving into the next exercise - Great metabolism booster! Modifications will
be provided for all levels.
Flow Yoga : Includes Sun Salutations. And may include arm balances, hip openers, backbends, and
inversions. Experienced required.
Intro to Yoga: Have you always wanted to try yoga, but don’t know where to start or feel intimidated walking
into a class? Have you ever wondered what a Downward Dog really is? This 5-week session is designed
for the absolute beginner who would like to learn what Yoga is all about, and be introduced to the
fundamentals of basic postures and breathing techniques in a loving, Christian environment. This class is
filled with beginners just like you, who will receive simple steps to help build confidence, strength and
flexibility. Mat and props are provided; dress in comfortable, fitted clothing. Class size is limited.

Intro to Yoga Part 2: This class is designed for the graduates of Intro to Yoga that would like to build more
strength before transitioning into one of the other classes. Class size is limited. Call 770-971-5280 to
register.
Pilates: An intense strengthening workout developed by Joseph Pilates which focuses on building core
muscle. Improves stabilization, flexibility, balance, control, concentration, and coordination.
Tone and Core: This class will focus on elongating your muscles to improve flexibility while incorporating
exercises that strengthen and tone your body. It will also include low impact core and floor work that will
increase stability throughout your entire body.
Total Body: This class will be a variety of cardio and weight exercises. Guaranteed to burn lots of calories!.
Weights and Abs: This class is similar to the Body Sculpting class but will incorporate additional time
working the abdominal muscles.
Yoga Stretch: Emphasis is on stretching and holding yoga postures for longer periods of time to improve
flexibility and keep joints mobile and healthy. This class is open to anyone. Perfect for Beginners and those
who want a deep stretch.
