unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, craft tools, and watch out for
Creepers! This ultimate LEGO Minecraft experience is an original game designed by Play-Well
instructors, using gameplay elements and characters inspired by the popular Minecraft video game.
Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO®.

Play-Well TEKnologies provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of

• Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If class is canceled due to
exigent circumstances (e.g. inclement weather), we will try to reschedule, but
cannot guarantee a make-up class.
• A full refund (less a $10 processing fee) will be given if requested in writing
and received by Mad Science within 5 business days after the first class.

WKD Karate 4 Girls After School Program introduces girls to martial arts in a fun and
comfortable atmosphere. This program will promote the importance of physical health and safety
by encouraging confidence, coordination, posture, balance and self-defense. Girls will learn to
implement games that nurture teamwork, friendship, leadership and problem solving skills. We
will also discuss self-esteem, self image and anti-bullying tips. This is a beginner level course.
Parents: Please provide a note to your daughters’ homeroom teacher with all the
dates of this after school program for your daughter to participate. Thank you.

Description: It’s never been easier to create claymation, stop motion, and original
cartoons! Join the fun and learn how to make your stories come alive. Students will
learn the process and techniques used to create their own digital stories using
computer animation. Students will acquire the knowledge to draw their own
illustrations, clone frames to create animations, edit images and sounds, record
narration, and quickly make changes to their stories and timelines. By combining
these various computer animation tools, participants will create and produce their
own unique animated stories. Price includes all materials needed for the class.
Important: Students will need a written permission note with the dates on it in
order to stay after school. By filling out and signing the below form, you are giving

Developed with the philosophy that learning to draw
creates confidence, focus, and perseverance, our
students engage their imagination in a whole new way!
Our curriculum never repeats and enables students to
confidently create their own masterpieces each week.
We keep it simple and FUN by creating an environment
where there is no right or wrong way to do art. Younger
children practice following directions and using fine
motor skills. Older children love having the freedom,
guidance and encouragement to further their drawing
skills. Within each session, students will explore a
variety of artist grade media, such as Prismacolor
Markers, ArtStix, Oil Pastels, Chalk Pastels, Charcoal,
Watercolor, Clay, Copper, Textured Papers and much

cups, straws and balloons have in common? They all will be
used to design, build, and test some pretty cool engineering
projects. We will solve hands-on, project-based problems
through collaboration, critical and creative thinking, and
communication. We will work through the Engineering Design
Process as we design, discover, and develop catapults, cars, and
other contrivances.
