PEIMS Submission 3 Principal Sign-off Meetings
All campus principals and department directors will be required to sign off on their PEIMS data
submission prior to leaving on summer vacation and prior to their complete PEIMS data being
included in the district data file.
Call, do not email, the PEIMS department to schedule a date and time to review your
campus/department PEIMS Submission 3 data and sign the approval form. In an effort to expedite
these sign-off meeting principals are encouraged to bring their staff that assisted with their campuses
PEIMS Submission. The following checklist must be completed before a meeting can be scheduled.
1. No meeting can be scheduled on or before the last day of school.
2. The campuses current school year attendance must be balanced and approved by the Student
Support Services Department.
3. All campus grades must be entered, reviewed and finalized.
4. No fatal errors can exist for your campus.
5. All TEA Edit + EDIT REPORTS including Special Warnings and Warnings must be reviewed and
corrected. Any Special Warnings or Warnings that will remain on your campus data must be
able to be explained/justified at the sign-off meeting.
6. All TEA Edit + DATA REPORTS must be reviewed and corrected for accuracy.
7. All TEA Edit + EDIT & DATA REPORTS must be reviewed with the campus principal prior to the
sign-off meeting. The sign-off meetings are short meetings confirming that your campus data
has been cleared for submission to the TEA. Sign-off meetings are not a time to resolve data
issues.
