Chief Executive Officer Search Frameworks of Tampa Bay is seeking an innovative and visionary leader with excellent interpersonal skills to serve as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in Tampa, FL, that teaches youth to manage their emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make good decisions for academic, career and personal success. The organization is rapidly growing and currently serves 4000 youths in Hillsborough County at public and private schools as well as community based sites with our numerous nonprofit partnerships. The largest expansion of our evidence-based programs is beginning through a partnership with the Hillsborough County School District to teach social and emotional learning skills to all middle school students in a four-year implementation plan. The CEO will be responsible for Frameworks achieving its mission of teaching youth to manage their emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make good decisions for academic, career, and personal success. This position will build upon and create partnerships with others so Frameworks can teach a core set of social and emotional attitudes, values, and skills that help children, teens and adults more effectively handle life challenges to succeed in academic, social and professional environments. The CEO is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization, overseeing the administration, programs and services, and strategic plan. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, community outreach, and advocacy. This position reports to a Board of Directors and supervises a staff of twelve. Essential position functions include leading the organization in evolving its mission, vision and strategy; providing strong and insightful organizational management; overseeing program and service planning and delivery; developing budgets that are in concert with organizational plans; and engaging vigorously and effectively in fundraising and development. Desired professional qualifications A bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred Transparent and high integrity leadership Five or more years senior nonprofit management experience or commensurate leadership experience; experience in a K-12 setting and/or social and emotional learning experience a plus Solid, hands-on, budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation Ability to convey a vision of Frameworks’ strategic future to staff, Board, volunteers and donors Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector Skills to collaborate with and motivate board members and other volunteers Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff Strong public speaking ability Candidates for this position should submit cover letter, resume, and references to: Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Inc.
