NLG Purchases 170 Lexington Road!
On February 23rd we completed our purchase of 170
Lexington Road in Billerica! We continue the exciting
work of preparing for the
opening of NLG’s second
School site and welcoming
the first new students this
summer. As we plan, we are
taking advantage of this opportunity to continue to enhance the quality of our services and processes as we
become one School with two
sites. Our Adult Program
benefits from our ownership
of the building with reduced
occupancy costs and upgraded building services as part of
the renovation. In order to
complete renovations and
have the resources to add 40
students over the next few
years we have embarked on a

February Highlights
Despite the
snow and icy
temperatures
that February
had to offer,
our hearts were
warmed by the
generosity of
the AS parents
who donated a
delicious treats
table for Valen-
tine’s Day. Our staff enjoyed a
beautiful and delectable array
of cakes, cookies, brownies,
candies, and popcorn. THANK
YOU to everyone—especially
Tina Sylvester, whose elegant
display would make Martha
Stewart proud!
February also brought us more
extraordinary achievements by
our member: Sean M. successfully completed communi-
ty outings! Kevin D. did a great
job recognizing his environment and vocalizing his needs!
Robert L., Lily L., and Ian O.
each independently asked for a
break! All of Group 1 has
done an excellent job working
as a team and communicating
with each other!
