KIDLINGTON
PLAYSCHOOL
We are now officially part of Magpies
and have also decided to slightly change
our name, we will now be known as
Kidlington Playschool, and hopefully it
won’t take long to get used to our new
name! There will be a few changes to
come but nothing too big, please chat to
Jo if you have any concerns.
We also would like to welcome our new
children and parents, we have a few new
starters this term, and we look forward
to getting to know you all.
THIS TERM
This term we have turned our home
corner into a Vet’s. We will be learning
about different animals. We are always
open to any ideas and feedback from
parents so please do have a chat with us
if you have any ideas. Also we welcome
parents to come and volunteer for a
session, you can see what we do for a day
WEATHER
We are so lucky to have ever changing
weather!! Please ensure that you have
the right clothing for the weather each
day, hats, coats, shoes, sun cream. So we

We have some news to share with you,
Chloe will be leaving us this month, she
has been given a fantastic opportunity to
work as a children’s holiday rep
somewhere hot and sunny. Chloe has
been a much valued member of staff,
who has bought a lot to preschool, we will
miss her but I’m sure you will join in with
us in thanking her for all her hard work
and with wishing her the very best in her
new adventure. We will be hiring a new
member of staff, there will be more
information on that soon.
Parents of Chloe’s Keychildren can come
and chat to us if you are worried at all

SIGNING IN AND OUT
Part of an Ofsted regulation is to sign in
and out with your name and the exact
time you drop off and pick up, so please
don’t forget!

FUNDING FORMS
If your child is eligible for funding this
term, you will receive a funding form
from us, please fill in and return to us as
soon as possible so we can claim the
funding on your behalf for you child.
Children that are eligible this term will
have turned 3 before the 31st of March
or older. Please speak to Jo or Betty if
you have any questions.

We would like to say a huge thank you to
our chairperson Emily, who has now
stepped down during the hand over to
Magpies. Emily has worked very hard for
preschool and has been a great support.
We are all very great full for the time
she has given us and all the fund raising
she has done for us.

We are continuing to take children right
from their 2nd Birthday and we still have
a few sessions free, so if you are
